SKY RANCH DIRECTORS Assist the year round staff in implementing the program ministries of Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp. Sky Ranch directors should be experienced in program development, implementation, and oversight, as well as staff management. Directors will work closely with the Associate Director and each other to insure the success of weekly activities. Must be 21 years of age to be considered for a director position and have at least one year of outdoor ministry experience.
ONSITE DIRECTOR Will assist in overseeing aspects of the main site ministries of Sky Ranch, including assisting with staff training, conducting daily counselor meetings, coordinating weekly staffing assignments, facilitating high ropes experiences, implementing emergency procedures and risk management plans, and ensuring the care and safety of the community.
OFFSITE DIRECTOR Will assist in overseeing aspects of the High Wilderness and Four Winds ministries, including assisting with staff training, conducting daily counselor meetings, coordinating weekly staffing assignments, maintaining records, facilitating high ropes experiences, implementing emergency procedures and risk management plans, and ensuring the care and safety of the community.
SKY RANCH OFFICE DIRECTOR Will assist in overseeing aspects of registration and guest hospitality, including assisting with staff training, preparing for weekly guests, maintaining communication with guests and administrative office, organizing weekly staffing schedules, maintaining records, facilitating high ropes experiences, implementing emergency procedures and risk management plans, and ensuring the care and safety of the community.
SKY RANCH COORDINATORS Support the year round staff and Sky Ranch directors in implementing the program ministries of Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp. Sky Ranch coordinators should be experiences in program development, implementation, and oversight. Coordinators work closely with directors and Associate direct, as well as each other, to insure the success of weekly activities. Must be 21 years of age to be considered for a coordinator position.
SPECIALIST COORDINATOR Will assist in supporting the program electives of the main site ministries of Sky Ranch, including assisting with staff training, conducting daily specialist meetings, helping to manage and support rotating specialists, overseeing field games and evening activities, facilitating high ropes experiences, and supporting the leadership team as needed.
HIGH SCHOOL COORDINATOR Will assist in supporting the high school programs of Sky Ranch, especially the Rendezvous program, including assisting in staff training, maintaining equipment, working with the off site guides in food preparation, coordinating various aspects of high school programming, facilitating high ropes experiences, and supporting the leadership team as needed.
DAY CAMP COORDINATOR Will assist in supporting the day camp programs of Sky Ranch, including assisting in staff training, managing day camp travel teams, overseeing day camp programs at individual sites, communicating with participating congregations, and supporting leadership team as needed. More than one Day Camp Coordinator may be hired.
WEEKEND COORDINATOR Will assist in supporting the weekend programming of Sky Ranch, including assisting in staff training, maintaining communications with weekend guests and the administrative office, providing hospitality, managing weekend staff, and supporting the leadership team as needed.
