2016 Guest Presenter: Pastor Margot Wright
Pastor Margot Wright has studied the Enneagram – a personality tool for spiritual and personal growth – since 2001 when a good friend shared with her how it was changing the way he worked, parented, and understood himself and other people. Since that first introduction she has both used this tool and received advanced training in teaching and sharing the Enneagram. For ten years she owned Clearly You Consulting, incorporating the Enneagram into retreats, workshops and spiritual direction and used it in the congregation she served. Passionate about developing deeper relationships with God, ourselves and one another Pastor Margot continues to explore how this tool guides us to understand the deeper motives of our behaviors and create a path for changing what we need to change so that we can really “let our lights shine”. Using practical, hands on, humorous and creative resources she helps open the door for those who want to both learn about and work on their relationships with God, themselves and other people.
The sessions for family camp will give an overview of the Enneagram and apply it to parenting, marriage, family dynamics as well as how to use it for spiritual growth. The Enneagram is sometimes compared to Myers-Briggs or other personality tools yet has some differences and depth that allow for it to be used on our spiritual journeys. No prior experience or knowledge of this resource is necessary and all the needed materials will be provided for each of the sessions.
Margot is currently the Pastor at Lord of the Hills Lutheran in Centennial, CO
