A group from Trinity Lutheran Church, Loveland, spent the weekend at Sky Ranch, making a huge impact. They tore off the deck to Hutchinson and constructed a new deck out of trex–sure to last a while. But one deck just wasn’t enough. They also spent the day with a chain saw and wood splitter. They split enough wood to fill our main shed (6 rows of 8′ x 6′) and most of the shed in the campground. This is work that would have taken Steve, our property manager, quite some time.

Thank you Trinity. It  was great to have you at Sky Ranch and we can’t wait to have you back again.

Please, check out some photos from the weekend and consider how you can help Sky Ranch and leave your own mark on this great ministry.

During their time with us, the men of Glory of God, Wheatridge, were able to install two new doors on Parks and Day cabins, install new lights in 7 of the youth cabins, install new exterior lights on two of the cabins, and build two wall-mounted cubbies for camper storage. In addition to all this great work, Glory of God has decided to adopt both Parks and Day cabins and to continue to make improvements.

A big thank you to Glory of God and the men who gave up their weekend to give back to Sky Ranch. Our campers next summer send their thanks as well.

Check out some photos of their weekend. Thank you to Jeff Kelty for the fine photography.
